Boquete to Bocas del Toro Shuttle – Fast, Safe & Easy

Travel comfortably from Boquete to Bocas del Toro without the long and exhausting journey using local transportation, which can take 6.5 hours or more.

Our shared shuttle takes a convenient route directly from Boquete to Almirante, without passing through David. From Almirante, your shared water taxi to Isla Colón is included in the fare.

How it works

1. Pickup in Boquete

We pick up passengers at selected hotels and locations throughout Boquete. Pickups are scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM, depending on your location and the number of passengers traveling that day.

Please be ready at your pickup point at least 15 minutes before your confirmed time.

2. Travel to Almirante

The shuttle travels directly from Boquete to Almirante. The road journey takes approximately 4 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.

Possible stops along the way to use the bathroom or eat. 15 minutes aprox

3. Water Taxi to Isla Colón

Upon arrival in Almirante, the shuttle will drop you off at Transporte Marítimo Valencia. Your shared water taxi is included and takes approximately 30 minutes to reach Isla Colón.

The boat will drop you off at Calle 1ra, in the main town of Isla Colón, within walking distance of many accommodations.

Travel Duration

Approximately 4 hours by road + 30 minutes by water taxi = 4.5 hours total travel time from the shuttle's departure from Boquete.

Please note that the 4.5-hour travel time starts when the shuttle departs from Boquete, not from your individual hotel pickup time. Travel times may vary depending on traffic, road conditions, and water taxi operations.
